It’s no secret that we’re big golfers at Cutter & Buck – and that’s true all the way up to the top. We recently asked our ceo, Joel Freet, to describe his five favorite golf courses in the Northwest.
From well-known courses that have hosted major tournaments to an urban oasis with mini-golf for the kids, these are Joel’s picks.
Bandon Dunes Golf Resort (Bandon, OR): “Walking the course is a must so you can take in the stunning ocean views. It’s good to play with a caddy on your first trip to understand the nuances though.”
Chambers Bay (University Place, WA): “I love the views, the friendliness, and the down-to-earth nature of everyone there. Plus it has almost zero out of bounds, so you can wail away at it.”
The Home Course (DuPont, WA): “This is a really exceptional course with lots of space. When you play it, you feel like you’re a million miles away from everything, even though it’s just a couple of minutes off I-5.”
The Links at Interbay (Seattle, WA): “It’s right up the street from the office, and I enjoy it every time – whether I’m there for a prework nine on the executive course, or to hit some mini-golf with my kids.”
Sahalee Country Club (Sammamish, WA): “Nestled amongst tall pines and lush green fairways, Sahalee is as pure as golf gets in the Pacific Northwest. It’s always perfectly manicured and in awesome condition to play.”
