To start, get out your tape measure and mark down your size for each area:
Neck: Measure around your neck at the point where the collared shirt band encircles the neck.
Chest: Place the tape measure up under your arms and measure t the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape steady and parallel to the floor.
Waist: Ensure your tape measure is straight around the waist where your pant waistband normally sits, or where you prefer it to.
Sleeve: With one elbow bent, measure from the center of the back at the base of the neck, across the shoulder to the elbow and then down the waist.
