This free event, presented by Amazon, will take place at three iconic Seattle parks, including Gas Works Park, South Lake Union Park, and Lake Union. Each location features something unique, from a variety of food truck options to lawn games—and even a pie-eating contest.

Take A Heart-Racing Run

What: The West Seattle Float Dodger 5K

When: July 20th, 2024 (8:30 am)

When fitness and festivities unite, good things happen. This 5K is one of the most unique races Seattle has to offer, as it allows you to run not only alongside runners, but giant parade floats from the West Seattle Summer Parade. And to properly celebrate your victory, you get a bubbly root beer float at the finish line. This race also has a charitable tie-in, with 100% of proceeds going towards the West Seattle Food Bank. And while costumes are highly encouraged, you should also be prepared with lightweight, athletic layers like a stretchy men’s pullover or a simple women’s pullover
