First things first, mark down which shows catch your eye so you don’t miss them. Over the course of the three-day festival, you can look up to the sky and see intricate displays from the Boeing Air Show featuring U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Army Golden Knights flying high above Lake Washington.
And if you prefer watching an exhilarating race, you must check out the Apollo Mechanical Hydroplane races, where you’ll see hydroplanes rushing by at up to 220 mph. To watch all this heart-pumping magic in action, there are a few premium viewing options including the floating Bud Zero Log Boom, the relaxing VIP Deck, or the spectacular raised pavilion at the Captain’s Club.
Throughout the festival, you can also check out an exclusive classic car show, play lawn games at beer gardens, jam to music featuring iconic DJs, and watch performances by the U.S. Navy, Marine, and Army bands.
No matter how you choose to experience Seafair Weekend, keep in mind a few essentials since you’ll be outside all day. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, bring sunglasses so the glare doesn’t get in the way of your view, and lastly, stock up on moisture-wicking gear to stay cool during peak August humidity, like this patriotic blue and breathable women’s polo, or this sweatproof and striped men’s polo.
