If apple cider is your favorite fall treat, then you should definitely check out the Apple Festival at Swans Trail Farms. On the grounds, you can pick juicy apples, see the cider press, and munch on caramel apples.
3. Get Spooked at a Haunted House
Where: Georgetown Morgue
When: Dates available September - November
Spooky season has arrived. To make the most of it, you need to discover the mystery of the Georgetown Morgue, the site of exceptionally haunted tales.
4. Visit the Rainier Beach Farm Fest
Where: Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands
When: September 16th, 2023
Stop by Seattle’s largest urban farm for this can’t-miss fall festival. At the event, you can explore bee demonstrations, see traditional dance performances, and meet llamas. Foodies unite! The Festa Italiana food festival is back, one of the best fall festivals in Seattle. Enjoy signature dishes, a cooking stage, and live music. The one activity you must see? The grape stomp.
7. Try a Pumpkin Beer
Where: Elysian Brewing
When: September 29th - 30th, 2023
If you can’t get enough of the flavors of fall, you must stop by the Great Pumpkin Beer Festival at Elysian Brewing. When you arrive, you can explore nearly 80+ pumpkin and seasonal beers, and enjoy a costume contest, music, and a pie-eating contest. The best part? During each session, the team scoops a several hundred-pound pumpkin and fills it with pumpkin beer.
8. Celebrate Seattle’s Seafood History
Where: Fishermen’s Terminal in Seattle

Enjoy music, fresh seafood, and tours of a 100-year-old halibut schooner at Fishermen’s Fall Festival. Great for families, there are a ton of activities for children, like an epic and educational show of live reptiles.

If you love wandering through galleries, you should stop by Wa Na Wari’s Walk the Block event. It’s an outdoor visual and performing arts festival filled with local artists displaying incredible work including sculptures, video installations, and community stories.

11. Catch a Home Seahawks Game

Football fanatics know this to be true. Fall is the best time of the year. To root for our local team, the Seattle Seahawks, you can catch a home game at Lumen Field. We recommend attending the game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, October 22nd.

12. Wander through Fall Foliage

If you want to immerse yourself in fall foliage, you must head to the Washington Park Arboretum. On Tuesday, October 24th, you can even take a curator tour to hear an expert chat about rare and unusual plants found throughout the gardens.
